Robotic Academic Approach towards Learning

With digital technology taking over every sphere, tutoring has also been experiencing drastic changes. As books are turning to virtual e-books and tutoring is conducted over the web, any new modification is now warmly welcomed by the industry. This has been taken on a serious note and scientists have developed robotic tutors for students at primary schools. The advanced tutoring approach is the brainchild of Dr. Imbernon Cuadrado along with his co-workers. This integrated architecture is based on software applications.

According to Luis Imbernon Cuadrado the goal has been to work on a design system which will help detect the various emotional stages of pupils at primary grades. The academic approach is meant to improve upon the learning experience of little ones.

While developing this technology, researchers first tried to emphasize on certain cognitive states like the following:

  • Concentration
  • Distraction
  • Inactiveness

These days’ online academic resources are increasingly available. Digital classrooms are taking the tutoring industry. Since children’s grasping power depends majorly on their sensitive state initiatives are sought after to help little ones maneuver the art of operating keyboards and understand mouse actions. The educational software programs are installed to recognize the cognitive states of little individuals. Such intervention into the academic segment is based on a robotic platform where computerized tutor upon recognizing what a child is feeling or what his cognitive state offers necessary guidance for learning. Such approach towards primary school tuition is already in practice in Adelaide and in different areas across the globe. The approach is to recognize simplified emotional stages.
